Avengers: Infinity War group posters show off colors of Infinity Stones

Avengers: Infinity War

Marvel Studios has released new character group posters for Avengers: Infinity War. These posters give some of the Marvel characters more room to shine compared to the previous poster where many of them were being crammed like sardines in a can. Each of the posters has a different color that symbolez the different colors for the Infinity Stones.

The red poster has Tony Stark as the predominant figure with Doctor Strange, Wong, and Spider-Man. If you recall from Thor: The Dark World, the Aether was red and had a liquid effect, and it will end up as the Reality Stone.

Next up is the red poster with Chris Evans as Captain America, Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes, Shuri, Nebula and Mantis. The blue effect captures the Tesseract, the Space Stone, which was seen in Captain America: The First Avengers and The Avengers.

And then we have the purple poster featuring Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Chris Pratt as Peter Quill, Zoe Saldana as Gamora, Dave Bautista as Drax, Groot and Rocket Raccoon. The color purple represents the Power Stone, which was seen in Guardians of the Galaxy.

The green poster features Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther, Mark Ruffalo as the Hulk and Danai Gurira as Okoye. The green represents the Time Stone, which was seen in Doctor Strange inside the Eye of Agamotto.

Lastly, we have the yellow poster featuring Elizabeth Olsen as Scarlet Witch, Paul Bettany as Vision, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, and Don Cheadle as War Machine. The yellow represents the Mind Stone, which is currently giving life to Vision.

Marvel fans will be able to notice that the Soul Stone color is missing. Where is it? There are many theories about its location, but we’ll find out once Avengers: Infinity War hits theaters on April 27, 2018.

The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from a screenplay by Christopher Markus and Stephen McFeely. It is produced by Kevin Feige.
