For those of you sad about not Jeremy Renner being absent in the latest Avengers: Infinity War trailer, well, I have some good news for you. Mr. Renner himself has introduced a new trailer for another movie, and instead of going up against Thanos, he’ll be avoiding his friends in a game of tag. Yes, the same game played by millions of kids around the world.

The movie is based on a true story of friends keeping in touch by playing tag. For one month, even when the friends are living different cities, they would try to find clever ways to tag their friends. This includes hiding inside a car’s trunk to tag the friend, tagging a friend at a funeral, trying to surprise and tag a friend at an airport, using disguises to tag a friend at a restaurant, and more.

Check out the trailer for Tag below.

Synopsis: One month every year, five highly competitive friends hit the ground running in a no-holds-barred game of tag they’ve been playing since the first grade—risking their necks, their jobs and their relationships to take each other down with the battle cry “You’re It!” This year, the game coincides with the wedding of their only undefeated player, which should finally make him an easy target. But he knows they’re coming…and he’s ready. Based on a true story, “Tag” shows how far some guys will go to be the last man standing.

The film is directed by Jeff Tomsic from a screenplay by Rob McKittrick and Mark Steilen, screen story by Mark Steilen, and based on the Wall Street Journal article, “It Takes Planning, Caution to Avoid Being It” by Russell Adams. It stars Ed Helms, Jake Johnson, Annabelle Wallis, Rashida Jones, Isla Fisher, Leslie Bibb, Hannibal Buress, with Jon Hamm and Jeremy Renner.

Tag hits theaters on June 15, 2018.
