As you probably saw, The Crimes of Grindelwald will primarily take place in Paris. The plan is for each of the five films to take place in a new city. First, it was New York and now it’s in Paris circa 1927. The film will also further explore more of the Harry Potter lore by introducing Nicolas Flamel. To those that do not know, Flamel is the creator of the Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone.

In addition, it seems as if our meek, loveable Newt Scamander has become some sort of a spy. As we saw in the trailer, Newt is going around Paris looking for clues to the whereabouts of Grindelwald. Unfortunately for Newt and Dumbledore, the Department of Magical Law Enforcement isn’t too keen on that.

As you saw, The Crimes of Grindelwald brought back everyone from the first film along with some new additions. That means Eddie Redmayne, Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler, Ezra Miller, and Johnny Depp are back. In addition, we have Jude Law, Claudia Kim, Zoë Kravitz, and Callum Turner joining the gang as well.

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters on November 16th.
