Warner Bros releases The Crimes of Grindelwald trailer tease; Full trailer out tomorrow

It’s been two years since we’ve last seen Newt Scamander and the Wizarding World on screen. Sure, we’ve seen some stills and a title reveal but we haven’t seen any real footage from the film… Until now. Today, Warner Bros released a trailer teaser for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald with the full trailer dropping sometime tomorrow. Check it out!

The teaser begins by showing the very first chapter from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Next, the teaser reveals a series of wands including wands belonging to Harry Potter, Lord Voldemort, Dumbledore, and Newt. Finally, the teaser asks fans to “get your #WandsReady” as a rapid succession of fans hold their wands in the dueling pose.

As you probably saw (or read), no real clips were seen in that trailer teaser. However, the teaser did reveal a social media campaign where Warner Bros is asking all Potterheads to get their #WandsReady. Basically, they’re encouraging fans to post photos of themselves with their wands using the hashtag. Additionally, you can also use the photo uploader on the official website which will allow you to create a personalized magical video to share on your social channels.

However, if you consider yourself to be a muggle/no-maj then star Dan Fogler has got your back.

Time to get your wands (or baguettes) ready, Potterheads! Be sure to come back here tomorrow as we will be posting the trailer for your viewing pleasure!

In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters on November 16th.
