Yes, you heard right, Avengers: Infinity War will have an earlier release date. The original date was May 4, and now the anticipated Marvel Cinematic Universe film will be in theaters on April 27, 2018. Next month, fans all over the world will be able to see the biggest lineup of Marvel heroes to date including Black Panther, Captain America, Spider-Man, Iron Man, Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange and many, many more.

There’s a Twitter thread featuring Robert Downey Jr asking Marvel if he can see the movie earlier. Marvel Studios then announced that the movie will be available in theaters for all.

It’s a very funny and informal exchange that led to the announcement.

To clarify, Downey Jr. asked if his friends can join.

The actor also wanted the whole world a chance to watch it early.

And Marvel Studios made it so.
