Save the dinosaurs in the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Trailer #1

The dinosaurs are back! After a week of various teases, the Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer is finally here. Of course, the sequel brings back Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard as Owen and Claire, respectively. Not to mention, we see the return of the incomparable Dr. Ian Malcolm to the franchise. Without further ado, check out the new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom trailer.

It’s good to see the franchise do something different with the storyline instead of rehashing the same thing. Although, it is a little convenient that a volcano would be erupting on the same island as the dinosaurs, don’t you think? Either way, I digress. What I do like is the film’s “race against time” plotline. It’s something that’ll add to the action and adventure of getting the dinosaurs off the island before the volcano erupts.

Although the film’s trailer is clear on what the storyline is, here is the official synopsis of the Fallen Kingdom.

It’s been four years since theme park and luxury resort Jurassic World was destroyed by dinosaurs out of containment. Isla Nublar now sits abandoned by humans while the surviving dinosaurs fend for themselves in the jungles.

When the island’s dormant volcano begins roaring to life, Owen (Chris Pratt) and Claire (Bryce Dallas Howard) mount a campaign to rescue the remaining dinosaurs from this extinction-level event. Owen is driven to find Blue, his lead raptor who’s still missing in the wild, and Claire has grown a respect for these creatures she now makes her mission. Arriving on the unstable island as lava begins raining down, their expedition uncovers a conspiracy that could return our entire planet to a perilous order not seen since prehistoric times.
