There will be four newcomers that’ll be joining the Crimes of Grindelwald cast. We already know that Jude Law would be playing a younger version of everyone’s favorite headmaster, Albus Dumbledore. In addition, Claudia Kim joins the cast as Maledictus, who is a “carrier of the blood curse that destines her ultimately to turn into a beast”. Then there’s Zoë Kravitz and Callum Turner, who play Leta LeStrange and Theseus Scamander, respectively. Leta has a history with Newt but she’s now engaged to his brother, Theseus. Theseus is a celebrated war hero who is the Head of the Auror Office at the British Ministry of Magic.

Also, Warner Bros has given us a clue as to where some of the characters have been since the first film. Newt Scamander is practically famous now since the publishing of his Fantastic Beasts book. Lastly, Tina Goldstein is an Auror again for the MACUSA.

So are you ready for the Fantastic Beasts sequel? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below!

At the end of the first film, the powerful Dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald (Depp) was captured by MACUSA (Magical Congress of the United States of America), with the help of Newt Scamander (Redmayne). But, making good on his threat, Grindelwald escaped custody and has set about gathering followers, most unsuspecting of his true agenda: to raise pure-blood wizards up to rule over all non-magical beings. In an effort to thwart Grindelwald’s plans, Albus Dumbledore (Law) enlists his former student Newt Scamander, who agrees to help, unaware of the dangers that lie ahead. Lines are drawn as love and loyalty are tested, even among the truest friends and family, in an increasingly divided wizarding world.

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald hits theaters on November 18, 2018.
