Watch the first 7 minutes of Mr. Robot’s season premiere

Mr. Robot

USA Network just released the first seven minutes of the season premiere of Mr. Robot, which airs tomorrow.

In the clip, we are introduced to Bobby Cannavale’s Irving, a shake-loving “used car salesman” go-to-fixer guy, who actually works for the Dark Army. As Irving is trying to reason with the cashier for a free milkshake, he is called by Tyrell (Martin Wallstrom) to clean up the mess he made – shooting Elliott (Rami Malek). Fortunately, Elliott is still alive, just badly injured. Irving does his magic – Elliott is placed in surgery and is expected to survive. As Irving is leaving the secret hideout, he asks about the kid and is told Angela Moss’ name.

The lights in the city go out, except for the ECorp Power Plant who have a backup generator.

We then see BD Wong dressed as Minister Zhang and his right-hand man talking about Elliott and his purpose in their mission. In a surprising twist, we find out that Elliott’s father also worked for them – and even died for them.

For a recap of the last season, USA prepared a recap video of the last season:
