The Last Jedi trailer confirmed for Monday Night Football tomorrow

It has been officially 178 days since we’ve last seen a Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer… Not like we’ve been counting.

Regardless, fans have been patiently waiting to see the next trailer. Many thought that we would see something at this year’s D23 Expo (didn’t happen). Some were even led to believe that Lucasfilm would make a surprise appearance at San Diego Comic-Con (lies). Then in comes our favorite Jedi to save the day. Several weeks ago, Mark Hamill kind of leaked details that a new Last Jedi trailer would come on October 8th during Monday Night Football.

As it turns out, he was right all along. Earlier today, Lucasfilm announced that the new Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer will arrive tomorrow during Monday Night Football’s halftime show. Considering this is football, we don’t know exactly when halftime is going to come. So fans will just have to either watch football or hit refresh on their browsers every minute. Then again, if you want to be one of the first people to get tickets for Last Jedi you might have to watch football. It was also announced that tickets for The Last Jedi will be on sale immediately after the trailer is released. Thus, if you want those tickets you might want to choose your gameplan.Watch football, the trailer, and be the first to get tickets.

You have several options: First option is to watch football, the trailer, and be the first to get tickets. The second option is to refresh your go-to ticketing site and then watch the trailer after. Your last option could be to watch the trailer once it hits YouTube but risk missing out on getting tickets for the first showing. Ultimately, it’s up to you my young padawans.

In the meantime, you can check out the two teasers below!

Those of you who live in the Anaheim area then we have some good news for you. Lucasfilm announced that there will be a special trailer release event outside AMC Downtown Disney. Not only do you get to see the trailer on a giant screen but there will be a live DJ, games, and giveaways too. The event begins at 5:00 PM.

So what do you think? Are you ready for The Last Jedi trailer to drop tomorrow?
