Marvel preps Hulu’s Runaways for NYCC

In anticipation for this weekend’s New York Comic-Con, Marvel dropped the new poster for their new Hulu series, Marvel’s Runaways.

Based on the Marvel Comics characters by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, the Runaways are six teenagers, each with their own ‘abilities’, who discover their parents are part of a supervillain group called The Pride. Together, they go on the run to try to stop their parents.

Fans attending NYCC can grab a poster, as well as the other posters, at the Marvel booth. The cast and creatives from Marvel’s Runaways will also be doing a signing at 12:30 pm on Saturday, October 7th (lottery-based). Their panel and first look will begin on Friday, October 6th at 7:45 pm on the main stage at the Javits Convention Center.

The official trailer has not been released yet but was leaked recently from the Hulu Upfronts back in May.

Marvel’s Runaways stars Gregg Sulkin as Chase Stein; Virginia Gardner as Karolina Dean; Rhenzy Feliz as Alex Wilder; Ariela Barer as Gert Yorkes; Lyrica Okano as Nico Minoru; and, Allegra Acosta as Molly Hernandez. Last week, EW released exclusive photos from the series of the characters, including their villainous parents played by Brigid Branagh (Stacey Yorkes), Kevin Weisman (Dale Yorkes), James Marsters (Victor Stein), Ryan Sands (Geoffrey Wilder), Ever Carradine (Janet Stein), Angel Parker (Catherine Wilder), Annie Wersching (Leslie Dean), James Yaegashi (Robert Minoru) and Brittany Ishibashi (Tina Minoru).
