Three more voice actors have been announced for the anticipated new anime The Ancient Magus’ Bride.

Prolific voice actor Daisuke Namikawa (Ulquiorra from Bleach, Oikawa Tooru from Haikyuu, Goemon Ishikawa from Lupin III, Hisoka from HunterxHunter, Italy from Hetalia, etc) will take on the role of Lindel. In addition, Satoshi Hino (Akito Takagi from Bakuman, Saito Hiraga from Familiar of Zero, Kamui from Gintama, Daichi Sawamura from Haikyuu, Sai from Naruto, Hayato Shinkai from Yowamushi Pedal) will add the role of Mikhail Renfred to his repertoire, while Mutsumi Tamura (Koushiro Izumi from Digimon Adventure tri, Ride Mass from MS Gundam Iron-Blooded Orphans, Camilla Pareto from Asterisk War, Finn Deimne from Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon,) will play Alice.

Crunchyroll screened the first 3 episodes of the anime in US theatres on July 26, with another screening for Canadian theatres on August 21st. The first episode will air in Japan starting on October 7th.

The Ancient Magus’ Bride is a fantasy shounen series, currently with 3 prequels in the works and the anime soon to be aired in October 2017. Chise Hatori is a young girl who sold herself into slavery feeling self-worthlessness. She is a special magus destined to die young due to the nature of her magic: she draws power from her surroundings and herself… at the cost of her own health. Her current master and fiancé Elias Ainsworth originally bought Chise to be his apprentice but proposed to her in a twist of events due to his lack of understanding of human social interactions. As a mysterious and eccentric figure with otherworldly origins, Elias Ainsworth does not fully understand human emotions or customs.
