The Nintendo NES Classic Hoodie has been unveiled and is available for pre-order now. But, rather than just slap an NES logo on a hoodie, Merchoid took it a step further. The hoodie itself is designed in the style of an original NES console with its grey and black theme.  It’s not all grey with the red Nintendo Entertainment System brandishing the front right chest. At the bottom of the right pocket, you’re equipped with the POWER and RESET buttons as well.

As of now, the NES Classic Hoodie is currently on pre-order and will be released this September. The NES Classic Hoodie is also officially licensed by Nintendo, so you can expect a high quality hoodie. With the press release sent to us, here’s what Merchoid has to say about the hoodie:

Re-enter an 8-bit 80s wonderland, where Mario is king, gloves are controllers and some of the best gaming experiences are a cartridge push away. And what better way to embrace your 80s nostalgia than representing your favorite console in one stylish hoodie? Now you’re playing with power!

Based on the images provided by Merchoid, the hoodie itself looks stellar. The stitching and cut panels are seamlessly woven together for a nice contrast look. Also, the use of High Density ink for the POWER and RESET is different than what normally would be embroidered. This allows for a nice clean cutout look with fine crisp edges that’s not possible with embroidery thread. All in all, it’s shaping up to be one bad ass hoodie that any gamer would want.
