Fox’s Superhuman features ordinary people with amazing skills

Superhuman
Superhuman, hosted by Kal Penn (Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle), is a series that showcases “ordinary” people with special abilities. The show’s fourth episode premieres tonight on Fox, and we have a special clip featuring a young girl and her extraordinary memory.

Here’s the synopsis for tonight’s episode:

Episode Info: Five seemingly ordinary people compete in incredibly difficult mind and body challenges, hoping to impress the celebrity panelists and audience. Each contestant showcases his/her special talent, with one challenge involving famed magicians Penn & Teller. However, only one will win the grand prize of $50,000 in the all-new “Extreme Awareness” episode of SUPERHUMAN airing Monday, July 3 (9:01-10:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

In the clip below, Charity will have to memorize 15 dog names and their favorite treat and toy. Will she be able to complete the challenge? Find out below.

“Superhuman” Episode 4: “Believe the Unbelievable” airs on Monday, July 3 at 9 P.M. ET/PT on Fox.

With superheroes being a huge money maker for movie studios, it’s not a surprise to see shows being inspired by humans with “super” abilities. Okay, so viewers won’t be seeing people who’ll be able to fly or freeze water, but their skills are still amazing for us normal people. Previous episodes have featured people with photographic memory, bird call recognition, translating language spoken backward, synesthesia, memorization and frog calling.
