Lin-Manuel Miranda challenges fans with #Ham4All to fundraise for charity

Hamilton creator and national treasure Lin-Manuel Miranda issued an online challenge to his fans to sing songs from his award-winning Broadway show using the hashtag #Ham4All – and all of it for a great cause!

Miranda is working with Prizeo for Immigration Heritage Month to raise money for charity. With a $10 donation, fans have a chance to win two VIP tickets to the Los Angeles premiere of Hamilton at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre  – with Miranda himself! It also includes airfare and hotel for two and two tickets to the star-studded after party.

Like the ALS ice bucket challenge, Miranda is challenging participants to sing a song from Hamilton and post it online using the hashtag #Ham4All.

Profits from the site will go towards the Immigrants: We Get the Job Done Coalition, which provides services to immigrants, refugees, and asylees, including legal representation, advocacy, and awareness campaigns in the United States.

Many celebrities have participated in the #Ham4All challenge, including Hamilton alums Taran Killam, Mandy Gonzalez, and Lexi Lawson; Grey’s Anatomy/Scandal/How to Get Away with Murder creator Shondra Rhimes; Ben Stiler; Kelly Clarkson, Jane the Virgin’s Gina Rodriguez, Westworld’s Ben Barnes, Grey’s Sara Ramirez; and the Currys!
