HBO is preparing for the premiere of Game of Thrones Season 7. The network has released a new trailer and lots of new photos via EW this week. The trailer is definitely packed with battles, and fans of the Stark family will be excited to see the surviving children together.

The trailer gives us a glimpse of what’s to come. Cersei Lannister knows that her enemies are surrounding her. They include the enemies to the East (Daenerys Targaryen), the West (House Greyjoy), the South (House Martell), and the North (House Stark). She’s pretty confident that whatever stands in her way, House Lannister will defeat it.

The end of the last season has Daenerys getting ready to reclaim her spot on the Iron Thrones. “I was born to rule the Seven Kingdoms. And I will,” says Daenerys in the trailer.

We also hear Davos Seaworth saying, “If we don’t put aside our enmities and bound together, we will die. And then it doesn’t matter whose skeleton sits on Iron Throne.” Is he referring to the White Walkers marching from the Far North? Will Jon Snow and Daenerys team up to fight them? We’ll find out soon enough.

In addition to the trailer, EW has released a bunch of new photos giving fans hope for House Stark. The entertainment magazine will also feature different covers with different House Stark members.

As Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) readies for the big war with the help from her dragons and enormous army, Cersei (Lena Headey) plans to defend her position as the Queen.

Maisie Williams, who portrays Arya Stark, had some colorful words to describe the upcoming season:

HBO’s Game of Thrones is based on the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” by George R. R. Martin. The show has been caught up with the books and will be going ahead due to Martin still taking his time to finish the rest of them.

David Benioff, D.B. Weiss, Carolyn Strauss, Frank Doelger and Bernadette Caulfield are executive producing. Guymon Casady, Vince Gerardis, George R. R. Martin and Bryan Cogman are co-executive producing. And Chris Newman, Greg Spence and Lisa McAtackney are producing.

Game of Thrones Season 7 premieres July 16th on HBO.
