Finish the fight with the final ‘War for the Planet of the Apes’ trailer

Caesar’s fight ends with the final War for the Planet of the Apes trailer.

In case you forgot, Matt Reeves has another film coming out that’s not The Batman. So get ready to greet our monkey overlords because the war is almost upon us. Today, the brand new and final trailer for Reeves’ War for the Planet of the Apes has finally come.

This is easily the most action we’ve seen from the trailers yet. It may also be the most emotional one. The dichotomy between rooting for your own kind or for the apes has always been a part of the recent Apes reboot. That message has never clearer until now. It’s time that we start rooting for the apes. Audiences know that Caesar wants only peace between the humans and apes. Yet we, as humans, feel the need to take back what’s ours. I don’t know about you, but that entitlement makes me want to root for the apes. Not to mention there are several scenes where we see some of the apes we’ve grown to love bite the bullet here.

Coupled with the trailer, 20th Century Fox also unleashed the brand new poster for the film. Check it out!
