Watch the rocking teaser trailer for ‘Thor: Ragnarok’

Thor: Ragnarok - Trailer #1

This Thor: Ragnarok trailer ragna-rocks.

Well, this is a happy surprise on a Monday morning! Finally, Marvel Studios just revealed the brand new trailer for Thor: Ragnarok. The film is the third and final Marvel film to come out this year and boy, does it look good. The trailer gives us our first look at Hela, Skurge, the Grandmaster, Valkyrie, and the rest of the gang. Also, it’s set to the tune of Led Zeppelin’s amazing “The Immigrant Song” which automatically makes it my most favorite trailer ever. Check it out!

Hopefully, this trailer will put all the “Thor: Ragnarok is going to suck because it’s an action comedy” haters to rest. There are a good amount of thrilling action scenes in the trailer with a dash of comedy put in at the end.

If you looked carefully, the trailer revealed a lot. First of all, we finally know why Thor doesn’t have Mjolnir anymore. It’s not because Thor’s unworthy, it’s because Hela just smashed it to Hel(l). Next, we may have possibly watched the fall of the Valkyrior which would explain why Valkyrie is working for the Grandmaster. Lastly, we get some comic book accurate looks for Thor and Hela.

What did you think of the trailer? Sound off with your thoughts in the comments section below!

In Marvel Studios’ Thor: Ragnarok, Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok – the destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization – at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first, he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger – the Incredible Hulk!

Thor: Ragnarok thunders into theaters on November 3rd.
