WonderCon 2017: Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Panel

Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Panel

During the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Panel at WonderCon, Capcom revealed three new costumes coming to Street Fighter V. Since the panel was held on April Fool’s day, a drawing which was made by SFV’s battle director was shown and featured a rather terrible but amusing photo of Ryu, Chun-Li and Juri in what looked to be high school outfits. Right after the actual concept art was shown, it was revealed that these costumes would be released at a later date.

That wasn’t the only news. At the end of the panel it was revealed that Street Fighter II’s Thailand stage would be coming to Street Fighter V at the end of April and will feature a remixed soundtrack, which you can listen to at the 40-minute mark of the video below.

No new information on the next DLC character for the game, so it’s only a matter of time to see who will be joining Akuma and Kolin. You can watch the video above to watch the full panel.

What about the Nintendo Switch?

You can also hear aboutĀ Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers for the Nintendo Switch (coming May 26th), which was playable on the show floor. Stay tuned for our first impressions of the game.
