Middle-earth: Shadow of War gameplay shows off fire-drake and giant battle

Warner Bros Interactive Entertainment has just released the Middle-earth: Shadow of War gameplay video, and it’s looking epic. The third-person open world action RPG will have gamers playing as Talion once again. They will get to participate in huge battles with their own orc army, ride on a fire-drake (fire-breathing dragon), and take over the many regions inside Mordor.

Fans of the films and books will be treated with a very large world map featuring iconic places like Minas Tirith, Osgiliath, Minas Morgul and Cirith Ungol. Since this is Shadow of War, Talion will be going behind enemy lines to forge his own army and conquer Mordor from within. Each region inside Mordor is ruled by an Overlord, and it’s up to you to take them out and promote one of your allies.

The Nemesis system is back to help craft personal stories for each gamer. Shadow of Mordor‘s Nemesis system allowed for a unique experience when fighting against enemy orcs. With Shadow of War, you’ll have stories from your enemies and allies.¬†Imagine teaming up with an orc only to have him betray you in the future.
