Better Call Saul returns April 10, plus new key art
Better Call Saul is returning for its third season, and AMC has released a new key art featuring Bob Odenkirk as “Jimmy McGill.” The stripes represent Jimmy and his attraction for trouble that could lead him to imprisonment.
The series is a prequel to Breaking Bad and in the third season, viewers will continue to see Jimmy McGill slowly turning into Saul Goodman, the infamous criminal lawyer.
Synopsis: The acclaimed second season ended with a pair of cliffhangers. Determined to prevent his brother from practicing law, Chuck staged an elaborate con, secretly recording Jimmy’s confession to a felony. When Mike set his sights on sociopathic cartel boss Hector Salamanca, an ominous intervention stopped him from pulling the trigger, raising questions as to what other dangerous players may be in the game.
As the new season begins, the repercussions of Chuck’s scheme test Jimmy and Kim’s fledgling law practices — and their romance — as never before. This imminent existential threat presses Jimmy’s faltering moral compass to the limit. Meanwhile, Mike searches for a mysterious adversary who seems to know almost everything about his business.
Peter Gould and Vince Gilligan are at the wheels for Season 3 with executive producers Mark Johnson, Melissa Bernstein, Thomas Schnauz, and Gennifer Hutchison. The series also stars Jonathan Banks, Michael McKean, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Michael Mando, and Giancarlo Esposito.
The new season premieres on Monday, April 10th at 10 p.m. ET.
