Science and space-based swimwear line Celestial Body Swimwear launches

By Holly Amos

Celestial Body Swimwear, which focuses on space and science themed swimwear, launched this week, much to the delight of brainy beauties everywhere. The company is the brainchild of Team Unicorn founder and member Rileah Vanderbilt and Los Angeles-based costume seamstress Jes Reaves.

The new line debuted via a Le Geek So Chic fashion show recently at the Long Beach Comic Expo and the various suit designs are now available for preorder via the company’s website. Designs include mix-and-match tops and bottoms in Soyuz rocket blueprint, math equation, and galaxy prints as well as designs inspired by real NASA spacesuits, all produced lovingly in Los Angeles, California.

A portion of each sale will go to the STEM non-profit group Mind Makers, which aims at spreading awareness and encouraging involvement in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and math.

Check out the designs and order at www.celestialbodyswimwear.com.
