Behold Excalibur’s power in the new trailer for ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’

It’s been several months since we’ve had a full-length trailer for Guy Ritchie’s King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. Well, wait no more because Warner Bros has just released the brand new trailer for King Arthur. Check it out!

We finally see the fabled Excalibur in all of its mythical, magical glory. I may be wrong but this may be the first time that we see Excalibur portrayed in such a way. One thing’s for sure, King Arthur definitely shows why this legendary sword is picky toward whoever wields it.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword stars Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law, and Eric Bana.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne. When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword hits theaters on May 12t
