Final season of Samurai Jack will air starting March 11

After 13 years of patiently hoping for some ending to Samurai Jack, the wait won’t be much longer. Adult Swim has revealed that the final season of the series will air beginning March 11th.

Ever since Genndy Tartakovsky made the announcement that the series was in development, fans have wanted to know just how much longer the wait would be. Adult Swim decided to finally reveal that information in a very clever social media bump.

That’s right, in just over a month, the final 10 episodes of Samurai Jack will air and give fans the closure they have wanted for so long. Back at San Diego Comic-Con, Genndy mentioned that everything he wanted to do to send the series off will be included.

Several cast members are returning for the final season of Samurai Jack including Phil LaMarr, who voiced Samurai Jack since the first season. No announcement was made on who would be taking over the role of the shape-shifting demon Haku as Mako Iwamatsu, who voiced the character for the first four seasons, passed away back in 2006.
