From nothing comes a TV spot for ‘King Arthur: Legend of the Sword’

Following yesterday’s poster reveal comes a short, but awesome, new look at King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. During today’s NFC and AFC championship games, you’ll get to see a brand-new TV spot showing brand new bits and pieces of footage for the Guy Ritchie film. Check it out!

The TV Spot, titled “Kingdom,” features a lot of Guy Ritchie-style footage with some amazing cinematography from John Mathieson. It’ll be interesting to see what kind of spin Guy Ritchie will put upon the Arthurian legend, but one thing’s for sure, though, King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is definitely going to be an entertaining movie.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword stars Charlie Hunnam, Astrid Bergès-Frisbey, Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, Jude Law, and Eric Bana.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword is an iconoclastic take on the classic Excalibur myth, tracing Arthur’s journey from the streets to the throne. When the child Arthur’s father is murdered, Vortigern (Jude Law), Arthur’s uncle, seizes the crown. Robbed of his birthright and with no idea who he truly is, Arthur comes up the hard way in the back alleys of the city. But once he pulls the sword from the stone, his life is turned upside down and he is forced to acknowledge his true legacy…whether he likes it or not.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword hits theaters on May 12th.
