TGS 2016: First Metal Gear Survive gameplay shown


At this year’s Tokyo Games Show. Konami has shown off gameplay footage of its upcoming Metal Gear Solid 5 spin-off title.

The footage shows off some of the features and mechanics that will be available to players in the full title. The similarities to Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain are obvious, but there are also numerous tweaks to how the game works alongside the inclusion of melee weapons and the ability to deploy barricades and fences.

The first trailer for Metal Gear Survive was met with skepticism by fans of the series when it debuted, but now with some gameplay to pour over, the game may start winning people over.
