What to expect at Nerd HQ 2016

Nerd HQ has definitely been one of the biggest and best staples of the San Diego Comic-Con unofficial festivities, and is returning this year for another run. If you have never been before, think of it as a smaller and more intimate comic-con right across the street from the convention center where you can try new games, meet your favorite celebs, and get into Conversations for a Cause panels where all proceeds go to the charity Operation Smile.

Zachary Levi and David Coleman discussed this years plans and what fans and attendees can expect to do and see.

  • Xbox and AMD are sponsoring and you will be able to play EA’s Battlefield 1 and Gears of War 4
  • The usual open dance parties on Thursday and Sunday which is one of the best free events for people visiting Comic-Con
  • Hallmark and Johnson & Johnson will donate $1 every day for every attendee who uses Johnson or Nerd HQ’s app to post pictures from Nerd HQ
  • Conversations for a Cause small and intimate panels with celebrities will be back where al proceeds go to Operation Smile. Tickets are only $22!
  • More Air and better viewing angles with tiered seats to make the panels even more enjoyable
  • Returning celebs from previous years as well as new ones from new and hot shows
  • Photobooth opps and celebrity photo appearances
