All things must come to an end eventually, and Tite Kubo’s Bleach manga is reaching the finale. The Bleach anime series aired in 2004 and ran until 2012 with 366 episodes and four films, but the manga series has still been going on strong as it entered its final story arc back in 2012.

It was revealed at the end of the 73rd volume of the manga that volume 74 would be the last. Ichigo Kurosaki and his friends are currently fighting the powerful Yhwach and his army of elite Quincy’s known Wandenreich, who are after Soul Society and the Soul King. It’s currently unknown how many chapters are left, but seeing as the series has been running for 15 years, it’s had a great run.

Viz is currently releasing the manga digitally as it releases in Japan, so fans can keep up to date with the manga. It’s also releasing physical versions of the manga which is currently at volume 66. Viz will also be releasing the Bleach Anime series on Blu-ray with Vol. 1 releasing on July 17th.
