Didn’t get a chance to see Howl’s Moving Castle or Princess Mononoke in a full-fledged theater? Well, now is your chance. Coming to The Frida Theater in Santa Ana, CA, from July 8th to the 21st, twenty films will be shown over the course of two weeks featuring many of the works of famed director¬†Hayao Miyazaki. Along with Studio Ghibli’s films, there will also be a special presentation of Akira as well as an art show featuring local artist with works inspired by Studio Ghibli.

I’m really excited for this festival. It is a good chance for me to see a few of ¬†Miyazaki’s movies that I may have not seen yet, and I get to see them in a movie theater rather than just at home. The venue is also located in a really cool area with neat shops and great spots to eat.
