Hulu’s Dimension 404 casts Constance Wu and Megan Mullally

Hulu’s upcoming sci-fi anthology series Dimension 404 has just recruited Fresh of the Boat‘s Constance Wu and Will & Grace‘s Megan Mullally to their star-studded cast.

The series is based on the internet’s 404 error code and aims to evoke that 3 a.m. feeling of wandering onto the weird side of the web, stumbling upon stories that cannot be explained in the world that we know. Each episode will feature a new bizarre story which may remind you of the Twilight Zone.

Mullally will play Director Stevens, a harden, no-nonsense military commander overseeing a top-secret, cutting-edge NSA project that will help fight terrorism. Wu, who will be in the sane episode, plays Jane, an active duty military psychologist, who wants to go home to her family for Christmas. However, the government cancels those plans to help their most valued agent overcome his performance issues in order to stop a deadly terrorist attack.

Dimension 404 also includes Joel McHale, Sarah Hyland, Lea Michele, Robert Buckley, Patten Oswalt, Ashley Richards, Sterling Beaumon, and Ryan Lee. Created by Dez Dolly and Will Campos, with co-creators Dan Johnson and David Welch, the series is being distributed by Freddie Wong’s Rocket Jump and Lionsgate.
