The New Day’s Xavier Woods vs. The Bullet Club’s Kenny Omega in Street Fighter V

In the past few months, there has been a “kayfabe” back and forth challenge between WWE’s Xavier Woods and New Japan Pro Wrestler and current leader of the Bullet Club, Kenny Omega, via tweets and YouTube videos. While fans may have been hoping to see the two face off in the wrestling ring, both Woods and Omega faced each other in a Street Fighter V exhibition match this weekend at CEO (Community Effort Orlando), a major tournament held in Orlando, Florida.

Xavier Woods and Kenny Omega had a few words before the match would begin, with both of them showing off their excellent promo skills. It’s a pretty entertaining first to five set, with both wrestlers popping off and messing with each other. Only one can take home the CEO championship belt.

Woods is a huge nerd and love video games. At Wrestlemania XXXII, he and his tag team partners, The New Day (Kofi Kingson and Big E), came out dressed in Saiyan Armor. He also has a YouTube channel known as UpUpDownDown where he does a variety of things, which normally revolve around playing video games with other WWE wrestlers including Sash Banks, Seth Rollins, and Kofi Kingston, to name a few. He’s also been part of the Tekken scene in a few Wizard World events in the past.

If you haven’t heard of Kenny Omega, you may have seen the popular YouTube video of him performing Zangief’s Super Final Atomic Buster online.
