CinemaCon 2016: Spider-Man reboot officially titled ‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’; First logo revealed
UPDATE: It looks like Robert Downey Jr. will make a cameo appearance as well! According to Yahoo! Movies, “The first clip from Spider-Man Homecoming showed Holland’s Parker meeting Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark, who drops by his Aunt May’s (Marisa Tomei) house.” I guess we know Spider-Man’s still going to be Team Iron Man at the end of Captain America: Civil War.

Marvel has been dominating the news as of late. With the trailer and poster reveals for Doctor Strange and the red carpet premiere of Captain America: Civil War, it looks as if our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man wants in on some of the action too. It’s been rumored for weeks but during tonight’s CinemaCon conference, Sony Studios chief Tom Rothman and star Tom Holland introduced audiences to the official title of the film: Spider-Man: Homecoming.“The film’s a homecoming to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and me and the fans are giddy about that,” said Rothman. In addition to the announcement, Rothman unveiled the new logo for the film (via ComicBook.com).
As you can see, the logo has a playfulness to it with the second O in “Homecoming” replaced by a “stylized version of the Spider-Man mask.”
