To stop zombies, you’ll need 90s boyband members in Syfy’s ‘Dead 7’

The members of Backstreet Boys and N’SYNC (and other various popular boybands of the 90s) decided to team up and make a zombie western film together. No joke. This is real. You’ll believe it when you find out it’s from the same producers and channel as the Sharknado films – there we go. That makes sense.

Buzzfeed released the first trailer to the upcoming two-hour Syfy original Dead 7. In a post-apocalyptic world in the West, zombies have taken over and only cowboys and ninjas can stop them. According to the trailer, ‘to fight the undead, you have to resurrect – 90’s Boybands.”

So, which boyband members are in this film? They have Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter, AJ McLean and Howie Dorough, NSYNC’s Joey Fatone and Chris Kirkpatrick, 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons, and O-Town’s Erik-Michael Estrada, Jacob Underwood, Trevor Penick, and Dan Miller. Carter, who also serves as executive producer and writer, plays gunslinger Jack, who brings together the heroes to fight against the storm of zombies.

Yes. This is happening and it’s going to be glorious. ‘Sharknado‘ glorious. Check out the trailer below.

Dead 7 premieres April 1st on Syfy.
