Super Nintendo games now playable on New Nintendo 3DS systems

Starting today, Super Nintendo games will be available via the Virtual Console for owners of the New Nintendo 3DS systems.

Here is a list of Nintendo’s line up for the next month:

March 3rd: Pilotwings, Super Mario World, F-Zero.

March 24th: Super Mario Kart, Earthbound, Donkey Kong Country.

April 14th: A Link To The Past, Super Metroid, Donkey Kong Country 2.

As mentioned before, the Super Nintendo Virtual Console games are only available for New Nintendo 3DS systems. This may have to do with the pixel perfect mode which let’s you enjoy the games in their original resolution, and a few other things Nintendo said they would announce in the future.
