If you need a way to pass the time until Dark Souls III releases next month, you might want to download the 16-bit endless runner, Slashy Souls, from Bandai Namco Entertainment and GameStop.

Available to download for free now at the Google Play Store and iTunes App Store, Slashy Souls is inspired by the endless runner genre and promises plenty of weapons, spells, monstrous bosses and frequent deaths, echoing the classic DARK SOULS experience with a retro look and feel.

Slashy Souls features simple gesture mechanics to get the most out of touch devices, and players will also be able to earn badges and share in-game scores to win prizes.
