We have some great news for fans of Kotobukiya’s Bishoujo line. The company has posted a few new photos on its Facebook page from Wonder Festival 2016. The new images reveal some of the new additions coming to the Marvel and Horror Bishoujo line that will see a release sometime later this year. As with all previous pieces, the Bishoujo concepts designs are done by Shunya Yamashita.

Ever since her appearance in Edge of the Spider-Verse (2014) #2, Spider-Gwen’s popularity has exploded. It only makes sense for Kotobukiya to take such a hot property and immortalize it in statue form.

The details on her costume really shine in the photos, as well as the pose that was selected for the piece. It also comes with a masked and unmasked head piece you can swap out.

After Freddy Krueger and Jason Voorhees were released, it was a guess on what other horror icons would be getting the female touch from Shunya Yamashita. Well, the wait is over as Kotobukiya also unveiled three new illustrations for an upcoming Edward Scissorhands and Childplay’s/Bride of Chucky’s main bad toy, Chucky, along with his partner in crime/wife, Tiffany.

I’m pretty interested to see the final sculpt for Edward Scissorhands. The heavy detail of the scissorhands and hair will be really interesting to see in person. Chucky looks disturbingly cute as she hides a knife behind her back.
