NBC announces Friends reunion show in 2016

Could I BE any more excited today? After over a decade off the air, NBC announced today that the entire Friends cast will be reuniting in a reunion show to pay tribute to legendary TV director James Burrows, who directed over a dozen episodes of Friends, including the pilot.

There are few shows that perfectly captured the ’90s zeitgeist more than Friends which (along with its must-see TV companion Seinfeld) helped NBC lock down Thursday night ratings for over a decade. And although each of the stars of Friends has remained busy (and even dropped in as a cameo on a cast member’s show), this will mark the first time since the show ended back in 2004 that the entire main cast will appear on a show together.

The Friends reunion special is scheduled to air on Sunday, Feb. 21 at 9/8c.
