Science Channel launches Science Presents DNews

With the popularity of its digital series DNews, Discovery-owned Science Channel has launched a new endeavor: Science Presents DNews. The minute long programming will air nightly at 9pm and will update viewers on science-related stories from the day. The segment is hosted by Discovery Digital Networks’ Trace Dominguez and Amy Shira Teitel.

“Science Channel has become the destination on cable for all things science as they happen,” Science Channel General Manager Marc Etkind said in a statement. “DNews at 9 will keep our viewers current on the latest science and technology headlines in easy to follow one minute updates.”
