Daredevil and Jessica Jones are now available on Netflix, and pretty soon Luke Cage. After that, we’ll be getting the adventures of Daniel Rand in Marvel’s Iron Fist. Recently there were rumors saying that Iron Fist was getting the ax, but Marvel TV head Jeph Loeb and CCO Joe Quesada have said that the show is still happening. Now we have HH and Comicbook.com reporting that a showrunner has been picked.

Scott Buck, who was the executive producer for Dexter, will be the showrunner for Iron Fist, according to the sites.

The Defenders will premiere after Iron Fist and will feature all the Netflix/Marvel heroes including Daredevil, Jessica Jones and Luke Cage.

In the comics, Daniel Rand traveled to a mystical city, learned martial arts and gained the power of the Iron Fist.

We’ll be getting Daredevil season two before we get the Iron Fist series. (Season 2 of Daredevil is coming spring of 2016 and Luke Cage in late 2016.)
