Power Rangers Legacy Communicator displayed at NYCC 2015

The Mighty Morphin Power Rangers has never been hotter. It’s been 22 years since the TV series first aired, and in the last few years Bandai has been releasing the Power Rangers Legacy line, re-released version of many of the classic toys and zords from the series that started it all.

While New York C0mic Con has a few Power Ranger exclusive items, visiting the booth also reveals some of the upcoming releases including a Legacy Communicator, which will release sometime next year. Designed to look just like the communicators used by the rangers in the show, the communicator looks to have swappable plastic pieces featuring all five of the original Power Rangers. Hopefully, this doesn’t mean the Green and White pieces won’t be exclusives.

Adding to the weapon line is the Legacy Blade Blaster used by the Rangers, set to release around the end of the year.

To round out all of Tommy’s Zords from the original series, the White Ranger’s Falconzord will also be released in the Legacy Line with a price tag of $79.99. This will be a nice addition to the eventual release of the Shogun Megazord and Ninjazords releases.
