At long last, Zordon finally has a roster spot on his Power Ranger team filled. Hot off the success of The Martian, Naomi Scott has been cast as Kimberly, the Pink Ranger, in Dean Israelite’s Power Rangers reboot.

Scott’s other work include Fox’s “Terra Nova” and the Chilean-miner drama The 33.

“Mighty Morphin Power Rangers” debuted in 1993 and followed a group of high school kids who gain the power to transform into the fighting force known as the Power Rangers. With an arsenal of weapons and Zords by their side, the Rangers battle Rita Repulsa and her minions in order to save the Earth.

The reboot film will be the third theatrical release for the franchise. In 1995, Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: The Movie starred the original cast and was followed by Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie in 1997.

Power Rangers saves theaters on January 13, 2017.
