Super Mario Maker surpasses one million sales worldwide

Congratulations to Nintendo who just recently announced that Super Mario Maker, a build it yourself game, has surpassed over one million worldwide sales since the game’s release last month on September 11th.

Nintendo also mentioned that players have created over 2.2 million courses, which have been played nearly 75 million times.

“For Mario fans around the world, including myself, Super Mario Maker was a dream 30 years in the making,” said NoA President and COO Reggie Fils-Aime. “The game has captured and unlocked the imaginations of gaming fans of all ages and brought their dedication to Nintendo to a whole new level.”

The game definitely is one of the best Nintendo Wii U games available. There is no end to the amount of content that can be created, with some of the toughest challenges and some silly, troll levels. It is one of the most popular games to stream right now.

For players of Super Smash Bros Brawl, Nintendo will be releasing a Super Mario Maker-themed stage very soon for both the Wii U and Nintendo 3DS.
