Call of Duty: Black Ops III for PS3 and Xbox 360 gets the shaft, won’t have campaign

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be available for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will also be available for last-gen consoles like the PS3 and Xbox 360. Since Activision and Treyarch are pushing for a “next-gen” experience, that means PS3 and Xbox 360 users will get shafted.

The good news is that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will get Multiplayer and Zombies gameplay, however, Beenox and Mercenary Technology, two studios responsible for the port, aren’t able to capture the campaign mode due to the size and nature of the 1-4 player coop.

Does this mean that gamers can get the last-gen versions for cheap? Yep, but only by $10, since the new retail price is $49.99. There is a bonus, and it’s the Call of Duty: Black Ops I digital download.
