Gravity Rush, the 2012 first-party game from Sony released for the PS Vita, is getting a major remake and it’s a great one at that. It was announced during TGS (Tokyo Game Show), and the remake is called Gravity Daze in Japan. The set date for release on the PS4 is December 10, 2015 in Japan. Here in the US, Gravity Rush: Remastered will be  available on February 9, 2016. The remastered version for the ps4 will contain all the great action- packed, 3rd-person-adventure experience from its PS Vita predecessor.

As revealed in the trailer, this game will feature a full 360 degree view of the game along with  sharp, beautiful and dynamic graphics with a well-refined, fluid battle system. As seen at the end of both trailers and starting September 15th, you are able to pre-order the Collector’s Edition of  Gravity Daze. So far, it includes a copy of the game and a limited edition Figma statue of the main heroine Kat. No word yet on the Western release of the Collector’s Edition. Blue Point Studios is handling the Western release that will include a 3-part DLC: The spy, maid and military packs.

Sony also made a surprise announcement that there will be a sequel called Gravity Daze 2.  From what the trailer revealed, it looks like it will introduce co-op play or another character that  you can control. There has been no release date yet for Japan or the US. It was just stated that it will be available on 2016 exclusively for the PS4.
