Dragon Quest is getting its own Minecraft-style game

Dragon Quest Heroes is set to release in North America next month. In Japan, however, the game has already been released with a sequel already in production but that wasn’t the big news Square Enix shared at the Sony press conference.

The game will play very similar to Minecraft where you can build, break and chop items. The visuals are impressive. It’s interesting to see how this game will do when it releases in Japan on January 28, 2016, in Japan for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

Square Enix is also paying attention to how Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below will do in North America and Europe to gauge interest about releasing more games in the future.
