Super Smash Bros. update adds new costumes, Tournament Mode and YouTube replays

On July 31st, Nintendo will be releasing a new update for Super Smash Bros on the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo 3DS in Japan. The new update adds new features, modes and costumes for your Mii characters including a Chrom and King K. Rool.

The biggest addition to the update is the YouTube replay feature. You will be able to save your matches and upload them to YouTube (as long as you have a Google account).

The new update will also add Princess Peach’s Castle and Hyrule Castle as playable stages. Each stage will cost 250 yen ($2.00) or both for 350 yen ($2.80).

No word on when the update will arrive in North America.
