Leaked email – Batman: Arkham Knight won’t be fixed until ‘spring’ for PC
So you know how the PC port of Batman: Arkham Knight was so broken that WB decided to just pull the thing from being sold until it would be fixed? It looks like the game won’t be fixed until “Spring”, according to a leaked email that was sent to EB Games staff members:
“As previously advised, we have stopped sales of Batman: Arkham Knight PC while Warner and Rocksteady work on addressing performance issues with the game. The latest information from Warner is that the updates won’t be available until Spring. Due to this we have made the difficult decision to recall all PC stock from stores to return to the vendor until an acceptable solution is released”
Considering that Australia is below the equator, we have to assume that “Spring” is their September, but that doesn’t exactly solidify if they indeed mean their fall or just the “Spring Quarter” of 2016.
Given how botched this PC release is and how WB handled the situation, it could be either one, and it’s also a bit of a “buyer beware” sign considering that they’re still chucking out DLC for the console versions that’s already been deemed absolutely worthless.
