E3 2015: Play Station: Vue – Cable TV’s death warrant now in Los Angeles and San Francisco

Yet another major announcement from Sony comes through with the new selective live television app for the PS4. Playstation Vue is launching tonight in San Francisco and Los Angeles. This is absolutely the last nail in cable companies coffins’. With Playstation Vue, you have the first ever selective cable TV experience. This means that there are no bundles with tons of channels you would never dream of touching. With Vue, PS4 owners can pay for individual channels, which they still enjoy.

How does this effect the entertainment industry outside of cancelled subscriptions throughout two mega cities? There simply in no longer any reason to pay full price for cable bundles. The age of forced TV is over folks, we can now go back to the good stuff. Personally, Cartoon Network and The History Channel. Sleep is going to get much easier once again.
