Logitech introduces new Force Feedback Racing Wheels for PS4, Xbox One, and PC

g29-racing-wheel (1)Do you consider yourself a hardcore racer when it comes to gaming? Have you wanted to play your latest PS4 or Xbox One racing game with the feel of a new racing wheel? Well then Logitech may just have something for you, as long as you don’t mind waiting a few weeks to months.

This week Logitech revealed two new driving wheels, the Logitech G29 Driving Force for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, and the Logitech G920 Driving Force for the Xbox One and PC. Both driving wheels will boast powerful dual-motor force feedback transmission with anti-backlash helical gearing, hand-stitched leather-wrapped rim, and stainless steel throttle, brake, and clutch pedals that look just like the pedals on a real sports car. The paddle shifters and LED indicators tell the drivers when to shift; something you would only see in an F1 car or insanely expensive Ferrari or Porsche. You also have access to the D-pad and other buttons to help you customize and fine tune the driving experience. The driving wheel also has built-in clamps for you to secure it to a table, and bolt points allow mounting the wheel to a racing rig for that immersive racing experience and won’t come loose during aggressive hair pin turns or for you drift machines out there.

With the realistic force feedback, you’ll be able to feel the road, get a better sense of under- or over-steering, traction loss and more, says Logitech. Each racing wheel has hand-stitched leather, giving the gamers a very realistic feel that not only adds a high level of quality but should also makes it comfortable for those long racing session. With E3 next week, we may get to see these two new peripherals in action. Expect the Logitech G29 Driving Force for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 at the beginning in July 2015 for $399.99 and the Logitech G920 Driving Force for the Xbox One and PC at the beginning in October 2015 for $399.99. Both will be available at your local retailers like Best Buy and online stores like Amazon and Newegg. For now enjoy the gallery and video below.
