By the power of Greyskull, I’m going to nerd out! Ubisoft announced that they will be adding a number of 1980s action cartoon icons to the front lines of the soon-to-be-released Toy Soldiers: War Chest, scheduled to come out this summer.

Toy Soldiers: War Chest is Ubisoft’s tower defense action game, in which an army of toys face off against another army in an effort to defend their toy box. Alongside with He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, the game will also include G.I. Joe’s Duke and his brigade of soldiers. Ubisoft states that there are two more licensed armies that will be announced at a later date.

Toy Soldiers: War Chest is set to be a challenging and explosive toy battle game, offering a variety of battlefields, and more armies added via DLC. Sound strategy and astute prowess are needed when you deploy your ponies, pixies, and teddy bears into full blown attack mode, as you lead your troops to an all-out battle for victory! Let the fluff fly!
