Hyrule Warriors, the Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors crossover for the Wii U, is now making its way to the Nintendo 3DS, according to a Japanese trailer that released earlier today. This version of the game is being developed by Omega Force and Team Ninja.

The trailer showed simulated 3DS gameplay that looks similar to the Wii U version, only with a scaled-down resolution and line strokes surrounding the character models much like Super Smash Bros. for 3DS. It also revealed that Tetra and the King of Hyrule from The Wind Waker will be playable characters and that they can be transferred to the Wii U version of the game somehow.

That’s all the information available to us at this moment. It’s highly likely we will receive more details from Nintendo at E3 next week. Hyrule Warriors was a big hit with Wii U owners selling over a million copies since its launch in September 2014 so it’s no surprise Nintendo would port it over to their more successful handheld.

l love to play games and write stuff about them. I can't play something and not tell anyone how I feel about it. Call it a sickness, because it is.
